A Vibrant Love Story at Cavo Ventus, Santorini

At Redboxdays.gr, we had the joy of designing one of our most colorful and expressive weddings at Cavo Ventus in Santorini. This breathtaking venue, overlooking the caldera and Aegean Sea, became the perfect stage for a celebration filled with emotion, color, and elegance. Our concept for "The One with the Colors" focused on bringing vivid florals and luxurious textures together in harmony with the island's minimal architecture.

Concept and Inspiration

The couple and the wedding planner  charlottemayweddings.co.uk envisioned a wedding full of color and joy, breaking away from traditional white tones. Drawing inspiration from Santorini's golden sunsets and natural volcanic hues, we created a palette rich in deep pinks, fuchsia, coral, and touches of gold. The goal was to create a luxurious yet lively wedding decoration that reflected the couple's energy while blending beautifully with the Cycladic landscape.

Floral Arrangements at Cavo ventus and Ceremony Styling

The flower arrangements were the heart of this wedding design. We used lush blooms — roses, peonies, and hydrangeas — combined with fresh greenery to achieve a vibrant yet refined look.

Ceremony Setup: At Cavo Ventus's iconic cliffside terrace, we designed a floral arch overflowing with color, framing the stunning sea view.

Aisle and Seating: Natural floral clusters and candles lined the aisle, creating a romantic path for the bride.

The balance between vivid color and elegant structure made the ceremony both dramatic and intimate.

Reception Design and Lighting

For the reception, we transformed the venue into a warm, glowing space under the Santorini sky. Candlelight played a key role — glass holders of various heights reflected soft light across the tables, while crystal chandeliers above added a touch of grandeur.

Tables were decorated with continuous floral runners, golden accents, and fine fabrics in soft tones to enhance the floral colors. The combination of flowers, candles, and fabrics created a sophisticated and unforgettable atmosphere.
