For Dana & Frank's celebration at Cavo Ventus in Santorini, we designed an elegant, romantic décor that married the dramatic island backdrop with intimate, warm touches. The result was a timeless yet expressive celebration — a perfect union of nature, design, and emotion.

Venue & Vision

Cavo Ventus, perched above the caldera with sweeping sea views, offers a striking blank canvas of Cycladic white, stone, and sky. In this setting, we envisioned a décor that would enhance rather than overpower — accents of color, delicate textures, and thoughtful lighting to complement the natural drama. Our guiding goal was to craft an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and personal, harmonizing with the light, air, and scenic beauty of Santorini.

Color Palette & Inspiration

For Dana & Frank, we chose a palette of soft neutrals with refined blush, cream, and hints of dusty rose — grounded by rich greenery. This blend echoed both the romantic mood of the couple and the muted elegance of the venue. The tones allowed the surrounding architecture, sea, and sky to remain part of the visual story, while the décor added intimate warmth and character.

Ceremony Design at Cavo Ventus

The ceremony took place on a terrace overlooking the Aegean. We framed the moment with a graceful floral installation — an arch of mixed blooms and foliage, arranged with natural drape and asymmetry, so it felt organic and elegant. Along the aisle, small arrangements and candle accents softened the walk toward the altar, guiding guests into the scene with romance and care.

Reception Styling & Ambiance

As evening drew near, the reception area transformed into a warm, glowing space under Santorini's sunset sky. Tables were dressed with low floral runners, interspersed with votive candles and slender taper candles, casting a soft light over linens in light, neutral hues. Sleek chairs with subtle elegance, minimal decorative elements, and touches of metallic accents created a refined, cohesive look.

We also incorporated sheer fabrics—draped lightly over certain architectural elements or woven gently through installations—adding softness and movement. These airy touches played with wind and light to give the décor a whisper-like quality.

Lighting & Atmosphere

Lighting was integral. We layered small accent lights with candlelight, and used hidden uplighting to highlight floral focal points and architectural features. As dusk turned into night, the glowing warmth brought depth to textures and shadows, giving the space a dreamy intimacy.
